How to repair a broken iphone

1- IPHONE IN WATER
If you have ever owned an IPhone, you most likely
have dropped it in water, cracked the screen or done
some damage to them because they are pretty
delicate. If you have dropped your phone in water
don't panic just yet because there is ways to fix them
yourself without running to the store and paying
hundreds of dollars for repair. If you have dropped
your phone in water, shake it out as much as you can
and do not attempt to turn it on because this can
ultimately cause more damage to the phone. Place
the phone in a back full of white rice, and close the
bag. Leave the phone in there for a few days and try
turning it on then. If you have not done permanent
damage, your phone will turn on, and all will be good.

2- NO TIME TO WAIT
If your absolutely in a rush and are panicking about
your phone and need it ASAP, try using a hair dryer.
Now turn on your hair dryer and have it on low heat,
lowest available and slowly stat drying it. This may
take a few hours but its a lot better then a few days.
If you start drying your phone with high heat, you can
burn the membrane and components inside the
phone.

3- BROKEN HOME BUTTON
One of the most common defects people deal with is
the home button on the IPhone breaking or not
functioning properly anymore. To fix this, you have to
open an app, hold down the sleep/wake button until
the phone is on power off and hold down the home
button for 10 seconds. If this doesn't fix it, the next
few steps will guide you through it.

4- HOME BUTTON REALIGNMENT
If your home button is broken or pushed into your
phone and cannot function properly anymore, don't
rush to the store for repair just yet but instead try
this. Plug your phone into the charger and gently
pushing down on the connector so that it pushes the
home button up and releases it from being stuck.

5- BUTTON STILL NOT WORKING
If your home button is still being a pain, it is possible
that their is a lot of built up dirt or something is stuck
in there that is obstructing it. Try this: Grab some
99% Isopropyl and apply 2-3 drops on the home
button and dab it with some q-tips and start
cleaning. Try it 10-15 times and attempt again.
6- ASSISTIVE TOUCH
If none of the steps worked above then this might be
your last hope but why not try. You can put the home
button directly on your screen if you don't want to fix.
Go to SETTINGS, GENERAL, ACCESSIBILITY, AND
ASSISTIVE TOUCH. This will put that button on your
home screen now.

7- ALL WHITE SCREEN
If your screen went all white and everything is
disabled try the following steps. Restart your phone,
reset the phone by clicking the home button and the
hold button at the same time until you see the apple
logo flash. If this doesn't work, try restoring the
phone from backup. You might lose a bit of data but
at least you have your phone back.

8- SCRATCHES NO MORE
If you have a scratched IPhone screen but no
cracked, you can fix this on your own without
replacing the screen itself. Grab some car wax and
some tape. Tape outside the edges so no wax can get
in there and start gently rubbing with a cloth and
watch the scratches slowly disappear. ***MAKE
SURE THIS IS NOT ON AN IPHONE 5 because they
have an oil coating already on the screen
